Session Description: Join us for a hands-on tabletop exercise as we walk through a simulated security incident to highlight key components of an effective Incident Response Plan (IRP). Drawing from real-world experience working with hundreds of FQHCs across the country, we’ll identify critical gaps and practical strategies for strengthening your IRP. An experienced incident responder will also share common pitfalls and valuable lessons learned from actual cybersecurity breaches to help you avoid costly missteps.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the essential components of an effective Incident Response Plan (IRP) for health centers from a real-life hands-on activity
Identify common pitfalls and challenges in incident response based on real-world breach scenarios through peer discussion and learned knowledge
Apply lessons learned from actual incidents to strengthen their organization’s cybersecurity posture and leave with sample playbooks and tools to enhance their facilities IRP plan
